Janet's Art Niche

Description

As a young child Janet was always interested in drawing and painting. In secondary school she really started to develop her own style, which her teachers encouraged. Over the years she maintained that interest. She has attended workshops with some amazing tutors. Glen Hoyle in Oil, Kate Gorman Acrylic/Abstract, Helen Cottle Acrylic, Craig Penny Acrylic/Impressionism, Judy Waters Resin and Glenda Cornell from the "Whistle Stop" Gallery Echuca.

Janet paints in Oil, Ink, Acrylic, and her favourite is resin. "I enjoy the journey of putting medium on Canvas or board and seeing what I end up with."

Currently Janet displays my artwork on permanent bases in the Yarrawonga Mulwala Visitor Information Centre.

There is always an exhibition somewhere that she has entered, from Tatura to Nathalia/Numurkah, Corowa/Rutherglen, and as far as Holbrook and down to Seymour.
