Eden Farm is nestled on Broken Creek near Numurkah, a short drive north of Shepparton near the beautiful Murray River in Victoria. The farm is a busy, off-grid, chemical-free, biodynamic farm with Maine-Anjou/Short-Horn cattle that are grass-fed, well-natured, healthy animals. In addition, Katherina and Gary Baker of Eden Farm also have a recycling and composting program, grow vegetables, fruit, crops, flowers and have various animals including mini-lop rabbits, cats, dogs, chickens and milking cows. The animals are friendly and even the bull, Tas, delights in having his neck rubbed ’til the cows come home. Eden Farm Tours are run two-three times a week all year. The farm is purpose-driven and takes dedicated and strategic action on its vision – something far greater than the products and services it offers. The farm sells the art and jewellery made in its wellness programs, with all profits going to the Artist. The programs are customised, client-centred and tailored to suit every participant’s interests, abilities, needs and goals to ensure the best possible outcomes. It is a big vision of the heart born out of a desire to improve the health and well-being of family members which grew to the will to share that knowledge with the community. The Bakers embrace a globally-minded, forward thinking, relationship building approach in celebrating ability, unity, accountability, inclusivity in all of its operations.
