Description

The YMAA was established by a group of enthusiastic local artists in 1998.

Several of our members are from the original foundation group. Forward to our present time & we currently have 34 members. Our group has an active social outlook with many award winning artists exhibiting in various Art Shows.

We are proactive with workshops & demonstrations from visiting artists throughout the year.

We also have dedicated Artists co-ordinating our community programs in the local schools. Our current home is at the Men’s Shed ,with in the Yarrawonga Showgrounds.

This provides us with a relaxed atmosphere & modern facilities. We meet weekly on a Thursday at 10am & welcome new members. Our Artists are varied with their techniques & mediums, & are happy to share their knowledge & expertise within the group.

We try to encourage a few Plein Air paint-outs along our beautiful Murray River over the year. Our local Clubs support us by providing a venue for our two Art Shows.
